Week 2

This week dragged by. Everyone thinks that Spring Quarter is going really slow. It has only been two weeks since Spring Break! Ugh, it feels like it has been five. MJ is particularly stressed. She has a lot on her schedule, and it is hard to be constantly busy. She doesn’t have any time just to check out and reset. Mom came in on Wednesday, and that has really helped. When Mom is here, it feels like everything will be all right.

Let’s see… This week has been pretty boring. MJ and I did play games with people from Icantori Saturday night. We actually stayed until midnight. We had a lot of fun. That was the highlight of the fun things we did this week. The week was just a lot of schoolwork. I switched classes on Thursday last week. I moved to an upper-division marketing class. Even though I have taken the recommended lower-division class, it is going well. I had to catch up some, but it wasn’t too bad. This class is much more interesting than my previous coding class. It would be cool to know how to code, but it is just not for me. There are a ton of abbreviations in digital marketing that you have to remember. I’ll give you an example of some: SEO, SEM, CPC, PPC, ROAS, CTR, CSS, SERP, CPA, etc. Luckily, they aren’t that hard to remember. Instead of a midterm and final for my marketing class, we are taking a standardized test. If we pass above 80%, we get a marketing certificate which is pretty cool.

It is Easter tomorrow, so this weekend has been all about that. MJ went to dinner at Dr. Scott’s house with other Icantori members. Dr. Scott’s wife made dinner, and they had a scavenger hunt. Today, MJ played at circle church. She did really well. I’m going to put a video of one of her songs on the videos page.

I don’t have a picture to post so here is a picture of snow falling. It snowed on Monday. It was crazy. There was like 4in of snow on the car. I started digging it out and then realized that it was not worth it, but by then it was too late. I had already started so I was going to finish. The snow was basically gone by Wednesday.

The picture is cooler when you can watch it as a live photo. The only thing I have left to say is 9 weeks! We miss everyone.

Love,

J&M
