MJ and I are so ready for spring break. I am just done with this quarter. Luckily, it is a long weekend. Unfortunately, I am not doing anything fun. MJ and Mom both left me on Thursday. Mom returned to California and MJ is off in Portland on a music tour. As soon as I was left alone I did what any 20-year-old would do: homework, wash the car, clean the floor, vacuum, dust, wash dishes, do laundry, and of course more homework. I know everyone is jealous.

An update on MJ’s slightly (not that much) more exciting life. She has had a very busy schedule and she is tired but everything is going well. They have about two performances per day and a lot of rehearsing. Her performances on the piano have been great which is giving her confidence.

I sadly don’t have any interesting photos this week to show you unless you would like to see a gradient puzzle I did with my friends. Our tradition of a Pine Cone picture does not seem to be working out for me. I would’ve gone by myself today but MJ would have been jealous. Here is a picture that is a couple of years old. It was taken as a part of my high school graduation photos. I’ve been doing some editing for an upcoming project and tinkered with it.

Me and Docs

My theme for this project is horses and I am using pictures of Docs and me. I miss him. Growing up can really suck. Well, I am off to now clean my laptop.

UPDATE

MJ got back at 12:30 am on Monday I guess. She is super drained but in pretty good spirits considering. We have decided to do all her favorite things as a reward for making it through the tour. We went to Graze to eat a Ceasar salad for lunch then headed next door to Pine Cone. Here is our picture to commemorate.

Pine Cone Ice Cream!

Then we went back to the dorm and watched Maid in Manhattan, a rom-com featuring Jlo. We finished off the night by eating nachos for dinner.

Love,

J&M
