It has been a long, slow week. MJ and I are looking forward to summer. Unfortunately, it is still February so we have got a while until then. Not much has happened this week. MJ and I went to a panel interviewing ASWWU (student body officials) candidates and decided that we never want to do that job. It sounds crazy to add a busy job like that on top of school and social stuff. We both had leadership roles in highschool that have scarred us.

The fun part of the week, as always, is the weekend. MJ was asked last minute to play for Circle Church. That meant I had to do grocery shopping by myself again this week. I’m good with being the housewife in our relationship. I make her wash all our dishes. We decided to get together with all our friends from CVCA that are here. We went out to eat and then had ice cream like we usually do. Here is our weekly ice cream photo.

Pine Cone Ice Cream!

We also finished our five hours of community service that are required in our religion class. We made cards to send to children in hosipitals. I drew the images on the outside and MJ wrote all the words on the inside. We went for fun and encouraging.

We are pretty boring. We are currently watching Notting Hill which MJ has discovered can be a little slow. That works for us because we are also doing homework. That is our standard Saturday night. We don’t do anything exciting over the weekends. It’s a good weekend as long as it’s productive and relaxing. Mom is relieved because she never has to worry about what we are doing. We are really missing home this week. Just another couple of months until summer.

Love,

J&M
